Training Redesigns:
Applying adult learning principles to make training more engaging, clear, and accessible
My Philosophy:
I believe that professional learning should be empowering, respectful of learners’ time, and rooted in how adults actually learn. I apply principles from adult learning theory, including relevance, self-direction, and immediate application. Inspired by experts like Dr. Echo Rivera, I design trainings that are visually clear, cognitively manageable, and emotionally engaging — whether delivered live, asynchronously, or in hybrid formats.
My redesign process focuses on:
- Simplifying complex content into clear, focused messaging
- Visual storytelling that enhances understanding, not distracts
- Chunking and pacing content to support real-world retention
- Respecting learners' time and autonomy, with actionable takeaways
