Enabling Data-Driven Program Management

Project Overview:

I created a suite of custom Salesforce dashboards from the ground up to support my program team and streamline day-to-day operations. Prior to my involvement, there was no centralized reporting tool, teams relied heavily on manual tracking and scattered communication. These dashboards made program KPIs, staff performance, and follow-up actions transparent and actionable.


My Role:

  • Identified a gap in operational visibility and independently designed the dashboard structure, underlying reports, and custom fields.
  • Built dashboards tailored for multiple users, including a staff-facing view that prioritized urgent follow-up and a manager view that tracked individual and team progress.
  • Created all reports feeding into dashboards and ensured real-time accuracy by maintaining data hygiene protocols.
  • Trained team members and embedded dashboards into daily workflows, eliminating the need for constant 1:1 updates or check-ins.

Outcomes:

  • Removed manual status tracking and centralized KPI review.
  • Empowered staff to self-manage outreach priorities, improving team accountability and responsiveness.
  • Built internal excitement and trust around data tools, laying the groundwork for a culture of transparency and ownership.
