CookShop Online:
Digital Nutrition Education Platform
Project Overview:
CookShop Online is an innovative digital learning platform designed to support nutrition education for K-12 teachers in New York City. I played a leadership role overseeing the rollout and ongoing success of the platform across approximately 60 school sites, engaging over 600 teacher partners. The platform empowers educators to integrate nutrition curriculum effectively into their classrooms through user-friendly digital tools and resources.
My Role:
Directed the end-to-end implementation and expansion of CookShop Online, including strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and program management.
Developed and delivered comprehensive training sessions for teachers to confidently adopt and utilize the platform.
Managed relationships with school administrators and partner organizations to ensure smooth integration and sustained engagement.
Facilitated ongoing feedback collection and analysis to inform platform improvements and content updates.
Tools & Technologies:
Google Classroom, Google Docs, Canva, Zoom, and other digital collaboration tools.
Outcomes:
Successfully onboarded over 600 educators, increasing platform adoption and active usage.
Strengthened teacher capacity to deliver nutrition education aligned with school goals.
Fostered a collaborative network of educators who share best practices and resources through the platform.
